Sales Terms & Conditions

By using changi-light.com.sg (the “Website”), you expressly and unconditionally agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.  Please review this Page regularly to remain updated.

Pricing / Payment

All prices are in Singapore Dollars.  We can accept Visa and MasterCard credit card payments as well as via PAYNOW.

Upon successful transfer, please a clear screenshot or a photo of the transaction reference number as proof of transfer, and WHATSAPP /EMAIL to us at sales@changi-light.com.sg.  Kindly include your full name and contact number for the ease of contacting you.  For PAYNOW, orders will be on-hold until we confirm that payment has been received.

Our website is secured with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) 256-bit encryption technology using HTTPS which can be identified by the SSL padlock icon beside our website URL.

Refunds & Replacements

Items sold are not exchangeable or refundable.  If the purchased items are found to be defective and/or damage during self-collection, you may (subject to the terms of this policy) return the Product(s) which are defective/damaged and we will replace (subject to availability) the same for you at the time of collection.

In the event that you have received an incorrect item, you can initiate an exchange by contacting us at sales@changi-light.com.sg and we will get back to you as soon as we can.  We reserve the right to refund or provide an exchange with an item of similar value in the event of stock unavailability.  Please note that such requests must be made within 2 working days (excluding Sat, Sun and Public Holiday) from the collection date and accompanied with the original invoice.

All of the following Product(s) are not qualified nor eligible for any return, refund, replacement or exchange.

  1. Any Product (including any part thereof) which has been installed, tampered with, assembled, damaged (subsequent to delivery) or in any way used:
  2. Any Product where its original shipping boxes and packing materials are missing, lost, damaged or the like.
  3. Any Product which has been subject to exposure, infestation, rust, water, fluid, corrosive substance, shock, excessive vibration and the like.
  4. Any Product where any piece, component, part or portion of the Product in question has (after collection) been lost, damaged, scratched, configured, used, cracked, rendered ineffective, twisted, compromised, warped, bent and the like.

An incorrectly sent item must be sent back to us using the original shipping boxes and packing materials and no others.  All pieces, components, parts and portions of the item(s) in question must be returned properly packed and in its original state, including all original accessories, manuals, warranty cards, certificates of authenticity etc.  All Product(s) must be in good working condition and of merchantable quality.

In the event that your order cancellation is accepted, do note that a restock and administrative fee will be charged

You fully agree that the Company shall not be liable to you (nor any other third party) for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses relating to any transactions involving the Product(s) including any indirect damages, loss of profits/revenue, consequential losses and the like.

You fully agree that the Company has the right to reject any attempted return, replacement, exchange or refund deemed unfit or unreasonable or where the Product(s) have been deemed not to be in full conformance with all the Pre-Requisite Conditions.

Product Warranty (Carry-In)

Our products comes with “Carry-In” warranty which means, customers are required to personally bring in the faulty products to our workshop/office for repair.  For “Onsite” repair request, a service charge/transportation charge will be imposed.  Our standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of collection of the purchased products.  The warranty is valid only if the item is properly installed, correctly operated, used under decent maintenance and if there appears a clear manufacturing defect.

The warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, corrosion or a result of defective maintenance.

Changi-Light reserves the right to repair the item(s), replace with an item of a similar value or provide a refund for the item.

Product Quality Claim / Returns

The images of the products on our Website are for illustrative purposes only and are not to scale.  Please refer to the measurements in the product description for accuracy on the product size.  Colours of products may differ due to colour calibration of individual’s computer and it might appear darker/lighter in reality.  Please allow variance +/- of 2cm due to product tolerance and tolerance in measurement.

We do not warrant the product descriptions or other content on the Website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.

Customers are advised to check their items during collection and reject any damaged item.  If you did not reject any item during self-collection,

please email us at sales@changi-light.com.sg within 24 hours from receipt of item with supporting photos and videos.

Online Exclusive Offers

Promotional items that are tagged with “Online Exclusive Offer” applied only on our E-commerce site.  Customer must purchase these items online to get this special offer pricing.  Please note that these items are valid while stocks lasts.

Installation

Prices shown on this website is without installation charge.  You are required to engage a qualified licensed electrical contractor to carry out the installation on your own accordance in order to ensure correct and proper installation.

Pre-Order

For products under pre-order, the lead time for delivery will be up to 8 weeks.  If your order consists of both pre-order and in-stock items, all the items will be delivered only when the pre-order items arrive.

Delivery

All items as shown in our E-Commerce site is strictly based on self-collection at our office at 18, Kaki Bukit View, Singapore 415954 which is located less than 200 metres from the downtown MRT Line DT28, Exit A.

Our business hours is Monday to Friday from 8.30a.m – 6.00p.m and we are closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday.

Please call us at least 2 working days before the date and time of collection so that we can standby or prepare the required items.  However, Changi-Light Pte Ltd reserves the right to change the self-collection date and time should any unforeseen circumstances arise in the midst of collection.

By placing your purchase order with you, you acknowledge that you will at no point in time, hold Changi-Light Pte Ltd liable for any inconvenience, losses, injury, damages and /or expenses that may arise from any delay, postponement, incompletion or unfulfilled collection of goods.  Thank you.
